When did it become standard to include a demonstrated crosswind component in an airplane's owner's manual/flight manual/POH?

I've flown many types of airplanes but haven't come across a book lacking a demonstrated crosswind component number until now. It's for a 1960 C175.

When you put full rudder in and still can not line up with the runway, it is a bit to much crosswind!

Start with 20% VSO and go from there.

Nah, then you just crab it and slip it. There's a little side load, but it's workable.

To answer the OP's question, I believe it was about 1978 when it became an FAA "standard" (actually, a regulation).
