I'm just making this up....
Over Disney above 3000 (watch the TFR), to the Queen Mary, out to Catalina, back over Palos Verdes, across LAX in the SFRA or coastal route, then between downtown and the Hollywood Hills, back to POC south of the mountains.
Well, that's the sightseeing trip I'd like to take anyway.
Alternatively, pop up to Big Bear. That's not LA, but it's a phenomenal flight.

Wow Biran...thanks for that link. I am planning a trip through the LA basin for the first time in a few weeks and that all helps tremendously!
