Has anybody here found a solution?

With many different avionics combinations, it seems to be common - google turns up many hits e.g.
http://www.vansairforce.com/community/s ... 374&page=2
http://www.airtalk.org/next-vt30696.htm ... c&start=15

In my installation, either KX155A totally wipes out the KLN94 and a Garmin 496, within seconds of pressing the PTT switch. This is on 121.175 and the two either side. This is despite the 2nd URL above saying the "A" version is supposed to have fixed this issue.

I have not found anybody who says they actually solved it - yet many aeroplanes have been IFR approach certified with these avionics. I reckon the installers either found a fix or ignored the interference tests and ticked the boxes.

The standard TED GPS filter is totally ineffective if installed approximately 2ft along the RF cable from the radio which in my case (TB20) is the only easy place to do it. It is pretty hard to get it close to the radio due to the avionics configuration which requires the removal of the whole centre stack module if one is to install the filter very close to the radio's RF output. OTOH some stuff on the web suggests the RF output may not be the source and instead it is coming out of the other wires which go to the radio.

I appreciate any suggestions...

One thing I would consider, if it worked, would be fitting a KX165A because I would like 8.33 anyway (this is Europe) - but only if this version fixes what appears to be a known problem. However, I have the maintenance manuals for both the 155A and the 165A and they seem to be internally identical except for some trivial details.

I did check the 121.5 ELT possibility, by unplugging the RF lead from the ELT - no difference.
