KX-165. Which G/Slope to buy

Hi... First post.
I have a KX-165. p/n 069-1025-24 with mod 15, I want to put in my C-152 Which G/S should I acquire. Thanks

You're really going to have to have an avionics shop do this. You can try, but there are 50,000 ways to blow it.

Best ask one of them.....you'll need the KI 208 with a resolver, I think....but this opinion is not worth much.

There are 16 submodels of KX-165 when you factor in:
14 v 28v
720 or 760 comm channels
25 or 50kHz selectivity
Integrated Glideslope Receiver

Unfortunately, the model he posted doesn't have an integrated glideslope receiver. There is NO provision to connect an external glideslope receiver to the KX-165.

You can't get GLIDESLOPE with this unit no matter what.

You may be able to trade it on one with GS receiver if you add some money to boot.
