I'll call tomorrow for the typical fuel prices/availability and any landing fees but thought I'd get some input from you wonderful folks.

I might be doing a flight on Saturday to take a family member to pick up their new car. They'll be going to Mt. Laurel, NJ. KVAY (south jersey regional) and N14 (Flying W) are the closest airports.
Anyone have any experience with either?
Assuming this works weather wise (I'll be starting in the Pittsburgh area), what should I expect around PHL? More than likely I'll file IFR even if it's CUV.

I lived right by both of them for about a year. VAY is a bit nicer, more FBO oriented. Flying W is more of the good old boys club. VAY gas is probably a tad more expensive. Philly may vector you a bit north. Most of the flight plans on FltPlan show the last few waypoints as Pottstown and Yardley. You will more than likely get vectored before that though. Philly is pretty accommodating and if you are low, it should be a quick sequence to get you over the river. Both traffic patterns at VAY keep you on the west side and both at W keep you on the East side. You'll see that if you did the traffic pattern on the east side at VAY your downwind is basically right over Flying W. I don't think I've seen two GA airports in such close proximity before.

Thanks for the response! Fuel is about $0.20 cheaper at flying W, but that's not that big of a difference (it'd save a whopping $3). Considering the passenger I might have, I think I'm leaning towards VAY. I'll see what landing fees they have.
