Now in SW Florida
I've escaped the snow and cold of NY for SW Florida. Found several places to rent here (Punta Gorda). Any suggestions/comments on the operations?

Thanks

Go see Kevin at ProFlight aviation. They have a 160 hp Warrior and a 180 hp Warrior. Both with good avionics and at reasonable prices. Ask anyone at the FBO.

Tell them Speedy sent you.

In addition to Proflight there is Harborside, they have three 172's(two SP's one with G1000, the other with a six pack, and 172k with a 6 pack. They also have a Grumman Cougar. Also A1 has 2 152, an archer, a cessna 150, and a seneca. Proflight has a sport cruiser and a warrior. I trained both PPL, and IFR with Harborside, and do my maintenance with A1. Have no experience with ProFlight. A1 and Harborside are real nice people. I keep my 182 in the T600 hangars.

If you use A1 or Harborside tell them Doug sent you. If you have any other questions just ask.

Have fun.

Doug

Those are the three I found. Sounds like they're all pretty good. Just a matter of picking the plane I want to fly.

Thanks

Fort myers flying club (cub club) at fmy is great, especiallymif you plan on taking trips. $65+ fuel for a 172sp and pa28 archer.
