Thats awesome how far they throw that snow!
I was very happy with the snow plow service. We had our street cleared and the driveway oep0ned out up so we could get out.
This morning I noticed that the plow had come back to make sure we had a restored 5 foot high, now solidly frozen barricade at the end of the driveway.
My neighbor just called. On that pass the plow driver also made sure to mow down all of our mailboxes.
I suppose he got overtime pay for that. The neighbor confronted him and got cussed out.

During the blizzard I pulled up flightaware to see if any traffic was flying at all. It was really strange to not see anything going into or out of O'Hare, Midway or anywhere else around here.

I was interested that some airports didn't NOTAM closed, though I'm certain the runways weren't plowed. KLOT did NOTAM closed for fixed wing aircraft.
