When flying round gauges, what is your iPad app of choice for weather and GPS? What other accessories do you like to take along?

Fore flight with the stratus II .

WingX with iLevil (ADS-B, AHRS and WAAS GPS) on iPad and iPhone backup. RAM yoke mount on pilot side. I also keep a lighter socket USB power adapter in the glove box if needed.

Agreed. While I do have a Garmin Aera 510 so I can get the more extensive XM weather products, if I were limiting myself to an iPad, I think ForeFlight and Stratus 2 would be my choice.

Nothing that I have to look down at. I put mine in the panel, right next to the 430. Cuts down on SD.

I typically run a Nexus 7 on my yoke with the iFly app (http://ifly.adventurepilot.com/) and an iPad Mini with Xavion (http://xavion.com/). I use them with a rechargeable iLevil ADS-B receiver as well as a Skyguard ADS-B transmitter. Love electronics and that's probably the thing that shocked me the most about owning an airplane..having to use 30 year old technology unless I want to spend more on avionics than what my entire plane is worth.

Running a dedicated GPS, iFly 720 on the pilot side yoke with a backup Nexus 7 running iFly ap on the copilot yoke.

Using a SkyGaurd Vision pro transceiver for ads-b out and in that shows on both devices.

Garmin 430W, storm scope, paper sectional(s) and bound approach plate books. A kneeboard with nav log, airport printout from AOPA and blank paper to make notes. I keep one pen in a holder on each side of the panel. A water bottle. Used to keep the Green Book for the eastern third of the country instead of a one-airport-at-a-time printout, but they went electronic in an unfriendly fashion.

iphone + ram mount xgrip stuck to side window + foreflight. I've been trying out the Machado-style kneeboard lately, with aopa printouts + handwritten navlog + scratch paper on one side, sectional on the other.

I use my iPad with FF for charts, I have a 396 with XM radio and weather, and as a backup, a 530W in the panel. :D I haven't been lost since around 1988! :D

Foreflight with Stratus II
plus Garmin 496 with XM weather
plus a Zaon collision detection device
plus a mark II calibrated eyeball (although that one is a little old and deteriorated now, thus the duplicate electronic gear).
