Just got a call from Martin State Airport asking if I was still interested in a T-Hangar which, at the present time, I'm afraid I'm not. This is the 2nd time they've called in 6 months, which makes me think they've got space for sale.

If you live near Baltimore, you might want to call MTN and see if they can take you, or at least get on the list.

Oh, and Ben? MTN is cheaper than BWI :) :)
That's a great opportunity. I think BWI is up to $700 per month!

I don't own, but I will mention this to my CFI! Thanks Chuck!

$700 a month for a T-Hanger?

Yup. Think "East Coast," "Class B airport," and "Signature." LOL--that is only slightly below the going rate for a good studio apartment!

I'm thinkin that if you want to own someday you should take the hangar!

I agree with Dr. Bruce. check your lease, you could probably sublet it while you shop for your plane. Maybe your CFI would rent from you.

Bird in hand... I probably won't live long enough to see a hangar at RDU.

Good points. I don't think I could probably own for at least a few years, though. . . .

You can sleep in a hangar, but you can't park your airplane in a studio apartment!:)
