KLX 135a

So after power down our BendixKing KLX 135 decided it no longer wanted to power on. My thought is a fired board, but won't know until it's out. Anyway, I found a replacement in need of a GPS realignment? Has anyone had experience as to what this may entail?

GPS realignment? Not sure what that is.
Do you mean a database update?

I had one that would do the same. Got to the point it would not power up at all. Determined it was the power supply. Lucky enough to find a replacement at a “reasonable” price. My avionics was able to perform an update on the replacement for me.
