KLOU (Louisville, KY) Pireps?

Going to take my wife on a little overnight getaway next week....looking like the weather is going to cooperate. Planning on Louisville, KY. Any suggestions for things to see? Planning on dinner at the restaurant in the old terminal building, but haven't got much further than that.

Nice place with friendly controllers. The on site restaurant is good. You can tour the bat factory. Taken a few river boat dinner cruises. Covered overnight parking was $30.00 a night I believe.

Churchill Downs offers tours just about daily (https://www.derbymuseum.org/plan-a-visit/tours). Louisville Zoo is better than most (https://louisvillezoo.org/). Kentucky Science Center is a pretty good museum (https://kysciencecenter.org/).

Depending on how far out from LOU you want to venture, you can do the bourbon trail. https://kybourbontrail.com/

Had a fun trip. Bowman seems to be a thriving GA airport. Lots of activity and lots of little planes. Restaurant in the old terminal is amazing; well worth the trip. Lots of things to do in town. Jeffersonville, in, just across the river, is great as well.
