I don't mean to pull my old man status on you guys, but I'm wondering if such a thread might be somewhat embarrassing to the target of such humor. I don't believe I would enjoy finding a picture of myself in a compromising vein posted on any forum, especially if it was not me to start with.

Shouldn't us POA members be looking out for each other?

John, let me be quite clear that this is NOT Kimberly, and I certainly hope she takes it in jest. If I have any indication that she isn't taking it that way, it's gone.

From what little I know about Kimberly, I guess there is a chance she will take it in jest. Then again, maybe not. But posting it here was in bad taste. Even if I did enjoy it.
 
Hey, the milk is spilt, it is what it is. The only reason for my post was to raise the question for future reference, not to put anyone down or cause discomfort.

The post was humorous, I'll grant that. Heck, I might have done the same thing myself had I come across that picture, and someone would be admonishing me for posting it here.

Grant, I think we all liked it, but we all like Kimberly too and didn't want to see her hurt or embarrassed. But then again, I don't know her personally so I dont' know how she would have taken it. Maybe you do and I talk too much. (I know the latter is true, I don't know about the former).

Yes, I've met her in person (okay, I admit it. She really exists!) and I think she'd have been okay with it, but I really didn't want to offend anyone so elected to take it down in an abundance of caution.

I vaguely remember the original post. Didn't think anything of it. Decided to move on. Had no idea somebody might think it offensive; I just didn't think it was... anything. Go figure.
 
I didn't think it offensive at all, just a joke, perhaps in questionable taste. I'm not surprised someone got their panties in a wad.

I was. A nice 150 owner on Saturday (me right seat) and a nice 172 owner on Sunday (me right seat). I need to do a quick (pattern) PIC trip in the 150 before the big XC.

Nope. We make the go / no go (aka we drive) decision when we check the weather on March 9th (a Friday morning).

EDIT: it is not my family. It is my BF's entire, extended family, on their once a year big trip. And I'm either going alone, or with the BF, in a tiny 150. Or we drive.
 
I've met in person or talked on the phone with FOUR pilots in this thread, who hopefully not only all know that I exist - but all know I would take whatever the heck was posted as a joke (I think, since I still don't know what was posted).

Grant, I guess you can send it to me in a PM or on Facebook, but you don't have to. Man I need to log into FB don't I. Sorry, life has been very busy.
