Ki-206a and 420?

Using a 420 waas gps, will a ki-206 work without a converter? Will any ki-206 work or was gps function only added on later gauges?

I assume I wouldn’t need annunciation since this gps doesn’t have a second nav?

Yes, a KI-206 is an approved nav indicator with the GNC 420. The GNC has the nav converter built in, thus can supply all of the analog signaling to drive it.

No annunciation needed. However, I would recommend placarding it with "RNAV/GPS ONLY" or something to that effect.
