interesting! I do go on-call for work starting that Friday but I might be able to swing it since it's a short flight. btw, did they name the airport after you? frank.durham....raleigh durham.....

Hahaha.. if i had a dollar for everytime i heard that, i'd have my own plane... -:)

I'm scheduled to take another pilot and his neighbor up on his first flight and we are looking to do lunch.. i pick them up from HNZ. The original plan was to go to MTV a restaurant on the field called simply suzanne's, heard great reviews. So if next week works, we could detour.. let me know

Actually me and my CFI are supposed to be going there for lunch wednesday! I have to help someone move tomorrow and he's booked as well so I wouldn't be able to make it tomorrow.

so I blew this off today, very lazy sunday.

Dam Eman... didn't see this till Sunday night. I was there today. Took my dog for her first flight. I just posted a thread about the 57A cafe...
By the way my dog did great

I never made it but it sounds like people are interested in going this coming Saturday.
 
Made it out there yesterday. Food was delicious! Chile Verde burrito was on point.
