Keratoconus

HI, around a little more than a month ago I found out I have keratoconus in both eyes. As of now I already had the CXL procedure done to my left eye, and will soon have it done to my right eye also. Just wondering if any other pilots have gone through this, and could maybe give me some expert advise, or at least the right direction to point me in.

You can take what Dr. Chien says to the bank, TripleS, but if you are looking for other pilots who have dealt with the condition, you might want to use the Search feature of the board software. A quick search turned up this thread; check out the last post, from 2014.

TripleS,
Did you do CXL Epi-on or off?
How is your progress now?
Have you improved your vision acuity?

"Keratoconus in need of treatment". It is unstable enough that FAA warrants annual followup reports.
