Ack...city life
I'm rereading the August 2000 issue of Aviation Safety. In your article on the Aerostar accident you say, "The eye of experience heralds the look of confidence." As fine an example of good writing that is should it not be the other way around? That is, the look of confidence preceeds the eye of experience.

From a 2nd party's point of view, he would observe the look first.

Perhaps you can post a correction in the next issue :)

Man, it's great to know we're all out there, checking and double checking the archives for any errors or omissions you might have made.

Makes you feel great, don't it, Ken? :D

Look, I wasn't trying to point out mistakes, I was merely asking for clarification. Fuggedaboudit.

Yes, the look of confidence is created by the eye of experience.

I never waste time doing productive work when I can, instead, be nosing into other peoples' business.

How about that, an honest lawyer. Spike, you're the 8th wonder of the world.

Thank you, Richard.

That'll be $200.00.

$200! So what you're saying is it took you 1/2 hour to compose a 'thank you' to me.
Not at all. He's saying $200 is his minimum billing rate. It costs that much when he answers the phone!
