I'm sitting on a SW flight to Little rock and looking inside the cockpit, it's all steam gauge!


Talked to the pilot and he was like, yea, there are still some of them out there. Sometimes ya gotta keep it ol skool.

I was like, my Lance has more glass than you!!!

Rather shocking to see as I travel commercial ALOT and this is the first steam gauge plane I have seen in many years.

Stick and rudder!!
 
There are pilots, and there are those who watch tv and press buttons. Some do both.
 
I think Allegiant's MD's are still all steam gauge. Delta's might be, too. It's the airlines that prefer to buy older and keep them maintained who are most likely to have 'em. Doesn't surprise me a SW 737 having the gauges given how many of the type they need!
