Kauai Ultralight Lesson

That's really neat Mark. I want to own an ultralight some day.

I love open framework ultralights and had the pleasure of cruising about in them above the Red River Valley in ND. Not as spectacular as Hawai'i of course, but enough to be able to share the rush you must have felt being surrounded by air instead of fuselage. To me it was like cruising on a big motorcycle --except a thousand or so feet AGL...the feelings as you pass between warm and cold air currents, the smells, and the incredible, unobstructed views!

I'm building a Quicksilver (maybe even an amphib) as soon as I get a spare pocketful of change and enough backyard (or proximity to a suitable place) to launch it from.

Happy flying!
