Just one good weather weekend, please??!!?!

Well, for the 2nd week in a row, I have to cancel taking my dad to Conchas lake on Sunday. I've been keeping my eyes on the forecasts for thunderstorms, and it looks like tomorrow's gonna be a nasty one....again.

I get Sundays and Mondays off of work, and it seems we have beautiful weather Tuesday to Saturday, then we get slammed with TStorms on Sunday/Monday...guess its the way it goes.

Yeah, it's been kinda weird here, too. I-40 seems to be the track everything is following lately. We won't see too much of it (just the edges).

Original plan of Death Valley yesterday fell through when I saw the forecasts (didn't want to be racing t-storms home). Alternate was Monument Valley. Nixed that one, too, with the winds forecasted. My pax and I finally just went down to Marana Regional (just north of Tucson) for breakfast and putzed on the way back. VERY bumpy ride on the return but he's cool with it. He's planning on getting his PPL after he's settled in his new house.
