Good afternoon everyone,
I received a letter a few minutes ago from the FAA and I'd like to get some advice on how to move forward. The FAA is asking for records pertaining to "Anxiety, Depression, Sleep Apnea and previous concussions".
I was treated for essentially grief counseling after a rough relationship break up and the anxiety/depression was a result of that and what would come of family law litigation moving forward. All of this occurred nearly 10 years ago and I have not been on any form of psychiatric medication for over 5 years.
I was recently diagnosed with Sleep Apnea and have only had my CPAP machine for 2 months or so so I don't have the 12-months of records of using the machine.
I sustained a couple of concussions playing hockey in high school more than 20 years ago and completed two military enlistments without issues.
I'm in overall good health and my initial visit with the AME, he did not have any concerns.
I've heard some horror stories about getting caught up in the system and am looking for that beacon to guide me through this process.
