Type 1 here. The "sit quietly in the grass at the end of a rural runway, their heads cradled in their hands..." is like the locals (a trick I learned well at a young age) at Grand Canyon checking in at the scheduling counter to see if there were any spaces available on any air tours that day. I figure that once we get things smoothed out at W04 with the FBO in place and a regular stream of aircraft coming and going, we'll have our share of youngsters doing just that and hoping for a ride.Steve said:
