You will be responsible for the supervision of the administrative, flight and maintenance activities at the Louisville campus. This talented individual will maintain high level of safety and expertise in aviation operations and will supervise all flight department personnel while maintaining proficiency as a Captain on at least one company aircraft. Keep reading to discover what challenges await you in this position: Specifically, you'll be responsible for: Serve as PIC when scheduled to fly.Prepare assigned campus flight department budget and monitoring department expenses. Selection and supervision of assigned campus flight crews, their qualifications and compliance with applicable company, federal and state regulations.Ensuring a focus on safety in all operational aspects through appropriate training, processing and taking action on any flight or ground crew reports.Appraisal of assigned campus flight department personnel while overseeing their additional duties.Directing the functional supervision of all flight operations, including dispatch, on all flights operated from the assigned campus. Training and development of campus flight operations personnel under his/her supervision in accordance with required and approved programs.Distribution, application and adherence of directives, notices and new flight operations policies and procedures as required. Ensuring that all airports and routes scheduled are operationally suitable and meet company requirements.Taking action on and distributing accident, incident and other occurrence reports.Maintenance of crewmember qualifications and currency records.Responsible for the security and appearance of the aircraft and hanger facilities. Minimum Requirements: Great opportunity for the right person! Do you have: Aircraft is a Challenger 601-3A and G200. Minimum 2 years experience or the equivalent college education. Must hold a valid Airline Transport Pilot certificate and a valid Instrument Rating for the category of aircraft operated. Must hold a valid FAA First Class medical certificate. Must be appropriately rated in this type of aircraft. Have a minimum of 4,000 hours total pilot time and a minimum of 2,500 hours of Pilot in Command time. Must have a minimum of 5 years experience with transport category aircraft, in addition to a minimum of 5 years general aviation experience (equates to 10 years). Should have no violations recorded with the FAA and must be able to demonstrate his/her piloting ability to a high standard. Strong leadership skills and confident decision making ability.
