What a souless scumball, and so young. (the perp. not Jim!)

I'm glad I don't have your job, Jim. I can't imagine having to do my best to save the life of such a callous human being. If my clients are scumballs I can fire them, I understand that is not quite the way the lawyering biz works.
 
I long since stopped rating clients based on their charged behavior. You simply could not do this job if you did that. I rate them on their dealings with me as their attorney, mostly. David was a polite, pleasant and intelligent young man who threw away a very promising life in the most stupid and destructive of ways.

My partner and I were glad to save his life, under the circumstances. It was about the best we could do. I'm sure our reward for this case will be the very next death penalty homicide filed in the county. No rest for the wicked:D
