Crashed Brazilian passenger plane appears to have plunged vertically into the ground, Brazil's airport authority says, according to Reuters.

They've found the wreckage... Initial reports say the small jet (if it was involved in a mid-air, that seems to be unclear at this time) was a new Legacy from Embraer, with a US pilot flying it back to the States for delivery to a US corporation.
