I found the first part in Avweb Flash:

JetBlue has broken ranks with the Air Transport Association and says it does not support an FAA funding proposal currently before the Senate. JetBlue says the per-mile charges and a 250-mile exemption included in that bill favor larger airlines who use a hub system, while JetBlue focuses on point-to-point flights ... .
Then, I found the following in ANN...
JetBlue Says 'Bye!' To ATA Over Stand On FAA Reauthorization

Awesome... nice to see a player in the industry stand up against Mean Marion and the ATA.

Jet Blue isn't so bad except for that whole can't get anywhere even close to on time thing. I guess the whole industry has the same issues. Go Jet Blue!

Take advantage of the enemy's weakness. Divide and conquer!!!:cheerswine:

There are more small airlines like Jet Blue than big dinosaur airlines. Maybe there's hope.
