Jet Blue Pilot Honored by Gov. Easley

It's good that pilots that do things right are recognized. We all know how much the media likes to recognize pilots that mess up.
 
I'm glad to see it happened, but more than a little dissappointed that none of the major news outlets cared enough to show it.

This is about the only good thing Gov. Mike Easley has done for aviation. My friend had the (dis)advantage of flying him a while back. When they landed they went to someone at the Dept. Transp. that she landed the plane too fast. Well the guy looked at him and said....Well, did she land? Gov. Easley....Yes. Ok then, she did not land the plane too fast.

Check this out too...since NC is into NASCAR Gov. Easley wanted to see what it was like to drive a stock car, or whatever they are called, and he crashed. Hurt the car pretty bad too from what I understand.

Glad you guys liked the story.

Someone should try and get in touch with the Jet Blue pilot and see if he would like to post on PoA.
