Jekyll Island (09J) Fly-in

We started this on the red board, but for those that are here more than there, we are looking at setting up a fly-in lunch at Jekyll Island. Now it's a matter of when can everyone go?

What dates are good / bad? Do you prefer Saturdays or Sundays?

Unless something pops-up, most Saturday's are good for me.

Bad dates for me: March 15 and April 12.

Some Saturday's are better for me than others: March 22, April 19, May 3. Sunday's are also good for me.

Your interest and date (good and bad)?

Looks like May 3rd is the date. Seems to be best for most replying.

The wife and I flew there yesterday. What a great trip. The gentlemen at the Red Bug/FBO (steve?) was a gracious host. The approach over the bridge and the water was breathtaking (if a bit bumpy) and the trails a hoot to ride.

One of the places to visit on Jekyll Island is Faith Chapel. It has one of only 5 signed Tiffany stained glass windows. The Chapel is only open between 2 and 4pm.
