Its actually easy to grease a landing in a ercoupe, the trailing link suspension absorbs a lot. Not having to deal with flaps or trim you have a lot less to think about.
That being said, nothing really prepares you for that first solo. Its nervousness a touch of fear and a driving desire to fly. But the second those wheels touch even if it wasn't smooth as glass you know right then you can fly and land. You instantly relax some and start enjoying the sky. Mu skydive instructor told me once that "as long as you don't quit on a dream, your still working on it"
So if your new to flying or thinking about it, don't give up. If I and the others here can do it so can you, enjoy the ride.
