My consolation= the pain has stopped for both.Sorry to hear that Tom. My condolences.
Even so it is tough loosing friends. My father had alzheimers and passed away in 2003. Thirteen years later and I still miss him so much. My prayers for you and the family of your friends. My consolation= the pain has stopped for both.
I've missed that first to go bus long ago.Tom, I'm very sorry for your loss. The only way around it is to be the first to go. Don't do it, you're like family.
Some times our best friends simply drift apart. It's sad, it happens.Just found out a friend from childhood (in scouts and same graduating class), passed away yesterday, didn't even know he was in hospice. 58
Really sorry to hear of your loss. sudden loss really shocks. This is getting way too frequent. My brother in law just passed after a days' illness, during a 'routine' upper GI scope; bled to death. No one had a clue he would not be around, cracking jokes, making his special dinners, loving his family for the next 20 years. Really bummed.
I hope you will allow me in on a bit of group mourning here, Tom - and you have my deepest condolences.
