One of the good doctors will hopefully explain to us. Seems like the pilot would have trouble walking to the aircraft.

That's the good thing about being out of shape, no way in hell my fat butt would have chased an airplane on the loose
 
0.252 g/dl is actually just 0.252 % BAC if I'm not mistaken. 3x the legal limit to drive according to the femoral sample.

Does the 0.348 g/dl in lung mean that a breathe test would show something close to that? Or no?

As the body “ferments” the ethanol levels do go up to some degree. He was impaired and might have been drinking while working on the plane. Being able to function with that high a BAC means tolerance. Interesting add on of the family friends mention of bizarre behavior in months prior. Conceivably he could have passed out in the plane.
In your drunkest moments I’m sure you’d figure out to pull the mixture at some point.
