Before I start this, I just want to say how much I truly love this place and I'll tell you why. It's because when something great happens here, we all come together and congratulate. When something bad happens, the people that care, figure out ways to help.
After an issue I had with ASechrest regarding a statement that he passively made simply out of passion for something he appreciates, I jumped down his throat about it. Rather than go into details, the point was that it triggered as a personal attack on my business, something Paul & I have worked very hard on, to gain certain "accomplishments". I perceived his statement as an attack on our hard work, and that was just not the case.
This morning I was still stewing and was talking to my business partner Paul (Acepdr) and my wife about it. I realized that not only had I handled it wrong, but I was probably going to do more damage with what I said, not anyone else's words. I have always been a hard ass, but I was just out of line on this one.
In addition to that, I had 3 people send me PM's that actually cared enough about it to try and help resolve the problem. I'm not going to name or out those people, because I don't think they want public recognition. I'm confident that they just actually give a ****, and I will never be able to say thank you enough for those types of people.
Adam (ASechrest), I owe you a whole hearted apology. I am very sorry for acting completely inappropriately. You were stating something that you were passionate about, and I completely slammed you for it. That was not right and I assure you it will never happen again. I consider all of you part of my family, and I don't want to burn bridges with family, ever. I ****ed up, but was just lucky enough to have people here that helped me see the err in my ways.
Although I am a face-to-face person and find written letters and texts to be quite impersonal, it will just have to do in this case. If we ever find ourselves in the same hangar, I'll make sure you get a "head or gut" opportunity.
To PoA, I apologize to you as well for presenting a very negative environment in that post, and will do my absolute best to avoid that behavior in the future. I thank you very much for providing this place for us to interact, and I don't want to tarnish that with that type of behavior here.
Thanks for reading.

If there was ever a decade of ubiquitously bad haircuts, it was the 80s.
I mean do people often compliment you on your "retro" haircut?
