There are three balloon operators local to me. Several years ago one landed on my property beside my house. Last night another one hit the treetops in my backyard. I went out on my deck and yelled up for the "pilot" to throw down the bottle of champagne, and he yelled back that it was in the van. Oh well. I tried.

Damn gas bags.
