No. I'm not female and not Canadian.

Re: Is there a Pilots message board out there where expletives and profanity are acce

Yeah, that's the ticket.

Re: Is there a Pilots message board out there where expletives and profanity are acce

We know he is a pilot at Avantair. We know know his name is cameron and he fancies the name captain. So lets google "Captain Cameron Avantair" and the second link down we get

http://www.linkedin.com/pub/cameron-miller/30/551/9a6

It's not hard to find people on the internets. If you google my name and Mooney its not hard to find my posts on Mooneyspace - finding me online in other ventures is difficult though.

You didn't know his name was Cameron prior to "the post".

Re: Is there a Pilots message board out there where expletives and profanity are acce

All you have to do is search my name, and I think I make up the first three pages of Google.

Don't worry, it wasn't hard to figure out who you were beforehand.

And don't forget, Jesse calls everyone of us 11,500 plus members of this forum by first name... cause we're 'tight'.

I can't believe I can't get a simple apology out of this.

Re: Is there a Pilots message board out there where expletives and profanity are acce

Jesse doesn't just know my name, he knows where I live!

Oh the public records! The ones available to everyone free!

Some forums require your FAA records to be pulled just to gain membership. Troll prevention.

FAA data base is available if you know the name and that's the point. If it was up front my name was going to be disclosed then fine. But it wasn't. Everyone got an anonymous name if they wanted except this guy.

Someone who WASN'T management told management his name before the "outing." Why does everyone conveniently skip over that part?

That's outside my knowledge.

Re: Is there a Pilots message board out there where expletives and profanity are acce

When I started modeming in 198X calling people by their real name was considered extremely bad form. I don't care if POA management knows who I am (they probably do) I just don't want the general public to.

If this stuff wasn't searchable I wouldn't care but it is.

You seem to keep leaving that part out in your post-whining even though you were told that a year ago. So its obviously not outside your knowledge of why it gets conveniently left out. Maybe you should be ****ed off at the person who told management, and not management. Or better yet, be ****ed off at the person who left the bread crumb trail that allowed the person to figure out who you were.

I'm telling you, I have no idea what you're talking about. If you have something to say then just say it. I'm not 'conveniently leaving anything out'.

Jesus, why does eveyone talk in riddles around here? You, Jesse, FC (well, not him maybe). Just say what you have to say. I've made my position pretty clear. I honestly don't understand you people. When I screw someone over I apologise. Not here.

But you are aware using your real name is not a requirement and maybe noticed not everyone uses their real name, right?

Do you seriously have reading comprehension issues?

Management was told by NON management your real name. Someone who wasnt on the MC did the digging and found the information before the "outing" post. That person discovered who you were by what YOU posted, publicly, on here, that EVERYONE had the opportunity to read. Not from registration info. From information YOU posted. How is that a ****ing riddle? You were told that by Jesse last year. Yet for a year you whined that management outed you. Management didn't out you. You outed you.

If you're going to be ****ed at anyone be ****ed at yourself.

I explained all of this to Captain via private message in April of 2012. I showed him the exact steps for how he was found by the non-mc member. He replied acknowledging that he understood that in a friendly manner.

Now he seems to have forgotten that he used to even have a website with a domain name very tightly coupled to his screen name and his real name. Who forgets about a website they had about themselves that had personal info and a domain they paid for that was based on their name.

When someone wants to play the victim card they conveniently "forget" things. Either that or they shouldn't be allowed to have a medical.

I'm just impressed how addicted to playing victim some folks are. It's becoming a common recurring thread.

Being insulted someone called you by first name anywhere, Internet, whatever, is quite odd. Most people own up to their words and are proud to associate their name with it.

I love the "I have some websites I'd prefer not be publicized here" comment, too. What kinda ass-hattery is that?

Either you're proud of your creations or you're... I dunno what.

A "victim" who lost their anonymity on the Internet. Just when I think I've heard it all...

My name is Nate, and I approve this message. And all my websites. And all my published words.

My advice? Nut up, Cameron. Dare to be yourself. Put your name on your websites and own your words and thoughts.

Some will be offended, some will like them, some will strive for anonymous lives of continuous victimhood. These days, it gets one attention from the overly-emotional who enjoy a good Maury show.

Is he the daddy? Is he just a "victim"? We'll see, right after this commercial break!

What's the worst that could happen?

The White House could pretend you offended the Commander In Chief so egregiously that you lose your job and are placed in mandatory sensitivity training, even if you're just another clown in the rodeo...

This was a direct response to David's post "if you google this company and this name, you get this". Which doesn't prove "if you google this, this and this, you come up with a name". Until some posts from tonight, most of us were not privy to who says they knew what when and how they got that information. So I didn't "conveniently skip over" anything.

I don't really care one way or the other.

It came up in other threads. Sorry to throw you under the bus, the "everyone" was really directed at Cameron, who for the past year, when he complained about being outed, always left out the bit of information that it wasn't the MC that did the digging to find his real name - even though he was told it wasn't.

Re: Is there a Pilots message board out there where expletives and profanity are acce

What 'bit' do you think is so important?

Okay, someone else figured it out and passed it to management. So what? That's not relevant. In fact, its obvious. Someone had to figure it out for it to be figured out. I've said I didn't post it. The point is THEY POSTED it! Are you retarded you don't see that is the problem.

I don't give two rat craps HOW they found out. It was clearly the posting that's the issue.

So now I guess I get 'to nut up' and own my words, huh? Get to be told by y'all using fake name to 'just use your own name'. (thanks for that laugh 'tangopapa').

And to pretend you don't understand why I'm ****ed off? Seriously? Go out some other people Jesse and see how they like it.

Last thing, I was NEVER cool with it. Sure I played nice at first but the other side won't even apologise. If you get into a fender bender at the mall at first you both act like adults and nobody should cuss or throw punches as its just minor damage. But then one side acts like a baby and won't give their insurance details or admit they were even in the car you just saw them in then your attitude changes. After a year of no apology for an obvious wrong and listening to them blame ME for THEM outing me I'm past playing nice.

I think your wrong Jesse. Several posters agree with me too. People on your side think how you found out matters so clearly their opinion is moot. In short, you know you're wrong and yet refuse to do the right thing.

I'm done.

Re: Is there a Pilots message board out there where expletives and profanity are acce

The funny thing is, we have plenty of folks who don't use their names directly for once reason or another, but we still know who most of them are and there's nothing held against someone for using their name.

The folks who draw the most attention to themselves are the ones who make a big deal out of hiding their names. Who remembers "Boo Boo", the FAA inspector who made a big deal of hiding his identity, stirred up lots of ****, and whose identity was determined by some clever sleuthing? He never told anyone his real name (and in fact lied about his name to my face as well as others when he showed up at Tony's graduation party).

Funny thing was, if he hadn't made such a big deal about it, nobody would have cared.
