The E-pilot this morning says that the AOPA Commander has a Lycoming with roller tappets in it. Has this engine been certified? If not, they must be flying as an experimental? I haven't seen the E-Word prominently displayed on the fuselage...
...and I also had to laugh at the E-pilot article touting the modern technology. Roller Tappets! How innovative! Well, it is an improvement and it is new to the engines we normally fly behind, but come on, guys... get a life. Roller tappets have been around for how many years?
