I saw an advertisement for an air rifle that fires a .22cal slug at over 2,300 fps.
I'm willing to bet that could be lethal.

Cool,, and they are not firearms under US federal laws. and most states too. but don't take them to Canada up there they are considered "WEAPONS" Different country different laws.

OBTW most older air guns are .17 cal, and still very popular. and very lethal

Or just have Amazon send the item to the local Amazon Locker (often Whole Foods), have FedEx hold at their facility or redirect to an address where someone can hold the package. I'm sure UPS has similar options as FedEx. Or have it delivered to work.
