The first batch of 12 S-LSA sold out in 80 hours at $115k each. The second batch of 12 will be done in 4 months and cost $123k fully equipped, including A-DSD in and out. US factory growing from 4 employees to 50 in one year. Most certainly they will stop at 49 because of Obamacare.

Lead times on kits have been extended 8 weeks on average.

The RV-12 is a real success story. It is an amazing airframe and economical flier.

Or get a Chief or Lus for 20-30k and have much more fun for much less!

Ether way, good to see growth in the GA market

Meh, I think the odds are good that I will pull the trigger on a Onex next winter though

Awesome to hear! Lets keep it going! (Although my poor ass wont be helping out any :) )

I was at a local fly-in on Saturday and there were more RVs there than Cessnas and Pipers put together, for the first time in my memory. There was also one Sonex and one Dragondly, one Cirrus and one Pipistrel Virus.

There were TWO older EX-AB (not S-LSA) RV-12s there and they were the only RVs with nose gear!

Even without RV-12 S-LSA, RVs are fixin' to dominate the GA fleet.
