iPhone-based altitude selector/timer

That's pretty neat. Just out of curiosity, do you use an iPhone mount, or do you just keep it in your lap or knee board? I can imagine having it on a secure iPhone mount would be pretty handy.
 
I use the mount - after my first encounter with the night flight inability to either read the checklists or see the alt selector because of the plane' inadequate lightening I decided that I need something to keep me off the harms way.

As of the timers - I usually have my fuel timer as a third one, second one is approach time and fist - holding
