IPC task(s) that must be accomplished in an actual aircraft

i believe its the Circle to Land. From what I understand only the high level full motion sims are approved for that.
 
I see either a straight in or circle-to-land being required, which makes sense since the landing is a visual manuever.
 
Regardless of ATD or Level D simulator, the maneuver must be listed as approved in the Letter of Authorization for that particular device (that's specific unit where it is, not just the generic make/model). BTW, there are FTD's with panoramic visuals that are approved for the circling maneuver, although I don't know of anything less than a flight simulator which is approved for landings. And since the landing for an IPC must be out of an instrument approach, you're going to have to do at least one approach in the airplane unless you have access to a "landings approved" flight simulator.
