IPAD keyboard help wanted

I know not how but my iPad just switched from a keyboard that went across the bottom of the screen, to one that is SPLIT 1/2 left and 1/2 right.

Anyone ever done this and know how to undo it?

When the keyboard is visible touch both sides and slide them together.

I found out by mistake one time, don't ask how long it took me to figure out how to fix it.
