Interplanetary Cessna

Haha that's great! Thanks for sharing!

The Sun: This works about as well as you'd imagine. If the plane is released close enough to the Sun to feel its atmosphere at all, it's vaporized in less than a second.

What if you go at night?

I think Venus is my favorite description.

Can always try a Cirrus, if it falls atleast you can pull the parachute.

I did a solar system tour in my 172 a few months before I sold it.

I like to use my twin engine RV, more room to move around in and a place to sleep on those long interplanetary cross countries I had to take for my certificate, Multiengine Spacecraft(MESC).

That's just a reworked old Navion in the picture. They've been stumping it around as serial #1 of the new production. They've pretty much been singing that story ever since they bought the type certificate about ten years ago. That's when they're not trying to make money by cramming unnecessary ADs down people's throats, trying to get the last of the original factory parts (which they did not buy, but where purchased by a competitor) decertified, or other wise insulting or badgering the type club and other Navion owners and mechanics.

I've never understood the business model of ****ing off your customer base.
