interesting thorey on missing 777

Any theory is just that a theory. Until the plane is actually found, any and all theories are just as valid as another.

Myself, based on all the evidence so far, it is obvious that aliens from another planet have taken the airplane and all of its passengers. Even now, as the search goes on, the passengers are being subjected to strange experiments aboard the mother craft.

In other words, nothing means squat until the airplane is found.

Oh, I never claimed it was accurate, only interesting. ;)
And my current favorite theory as it would make for the best movie.

It is an interesting theory that they trailed a Singapore airliner all the way to the 'stans.

But what would the hijacker have done if the Singapore airliner wasn't there as expected, due to a delay on the ground for example? It seems like the hijacker would be relying on too many things that aren't under his control.

Someone on PPRuNe posted that due to the cost of fuel in China that MAS often carried enough fuel for a round trip. If that is true, they could have flown the Indian Ocean out of radar range on a trip to Iran.

Just food for thought.

So the question becomes why steal a plane full of people? What are they going to do with the plane / people?

I suspect members of the Weldon Institute, traveling incognito as employees of Freescale Semiconductor, were on board, suggesting the perp was none other than...

It was many moons ago, but that reminds me of the time I was on my way to Australia on Pan Am. They made an unscheduled stop in Fiji to take on enough fuel to fly to OZ and back to Fiji (the dimbulb Australian fuel truck drivers were on strike). Pan Am kicked some Pax off the flight to lighten the load (but not me!).

Once in Australia I had to continue on to Perth. Many, many flights were cancelled - but not mine!. Boy, did I ever luck out that time.

By the way - those were the days that Pan Am had an around-the-world, space available ticket for an attractive price. The strategy backfired for some folks on that occasion. The Fiji airport was full of stranded travelers who couldn't get out.

When I was going to fly to Oz in 2007, they had a coup at Fiji. That was pretty fun... Fortunately, my flight was unaffected for some reason. I just milled around the waiting room for a couple of hours.
