The following was developed as a mental age assessment by the School of Psychiatry at Harvard University.
Take your time and see if you can read each line aloud without a mistake.

They say the average person over 50 years of age cannot do it!

1. This is this cat.
2. This is is cat.
3. This is how cat.
4. This is to cat.
5. This is keep cat.
6. This is an cat.
7. This is old cat.
8. This is fart cat.
9. This is busy cat.
10. This is for cat.
11. This is forty cat.
12. This is seconds cat.

Now go back and read the third word in each line from the top down.

I looked at two lines and saw the hidden message, I am 57.

So what does that mean?????

That's been around almost as long as I have.

I'm 61 and saw the message after about 4 lines, and I completed reading the whole list in approx 15 - 20 seconds. And while I admit that I am slowing down a little, my Father In law is 86 and his mental acuity still scares me. He is sharper than I ever was.

Getting old sucks. Not getting old sucks more. And being a stupid kid is the worst.

Nothing wrong with cats, but I found once I passed 50 - I just can't eat a WHOLE ONE anymore

Most of the ones you'd want to eat are hairless these days anyway.

Got any tests for us over sixty pilots?

How do you make a cat sound like a dog?

Pour petrol on it and strike a match. It goes "Wuuuuuuff!"

Sorry, old joke, best I can do. The OP's was way better.
