That's a good picture to illustrate a bunch of different weather phenomenon.

It also looks like it's cloudy at home right now....Yep, accu weather dot com confirms it, Mostly Cloudy, 60F.

That low came through N CO Monday night and all day yesterday. 30-50 knot winds, temp dropped 40F, and the mountain had a small blizzard.

And glad I'm not trying Kerrville today either.
 
Yep, we had what the forecast guys call a "stacked cyclone" over the Dakotas the past couple days that slowly moved south. VERY interesting clouds, very variable winds, t-storms of varying intensity. I was coming home from an EAA chapter meeting Tuesday and just had to keep driving so I could watch the turbulent sky. (My camera batteries crapped out so no good pics). But I won't forget the blue, purple, and orange lighting I saw "walking" across the sky that evening.
