@Jay Honeck will like this one. It is a combo clock, USB charging station, and extension cord. (Found in a Holiday Inn in San Antonio)

If you want weird hotel gadgets, go to Japan. That place is unmatched. Make sure you understand the toilet before you use it.

These things are evil. There is a popular sushi restaurant in Sacto that has those in the bathroom. I had a lot of saki in me, but not quite enough when someone challenged me to eat a raw sea snail. Well, my sea snail was rotten. It smelled rotten. It tasted rotten. I know, but the saki. I was okay for about fifteen minutes then....

Well these things are weight activated and it happened to have been armed and ready, so basically my whole head got blasted with a shower of water as I leaned over the toilet. After making the offerings, I tried the best I could to dry my head off but it was still soaked when I went back to the table. Everyone could figure out exactly what happened, and I was the butt over toilet jokes all night.

My parents have something similar.
I tried 1 time. Something about having water and hot air blown at my nether regions was off putting.

That's actually pretty cool.

With the advent of "The Gadget Society", we can never have enough outlets in the guest rooms. I've installed many extras, plus light fixtures with extra outlets, but it's never enough.

Mary and I have taken to traveling with our own segmented power strip that accomodates all of our charge cords. Between our phones, tablets, watches, etc, we set up 5+ charging stations every night.

I used to do that. Then when I was building my Stratux I bought a big lithium battery. And then I realized my habits had all changed. I'd just charge the lithium, maybe with something else plugged into it, maybe not, and all I had to carry around to charge anything else was the USB cable for that device. No more lugging around all the wall worts. Just something to charge the battery.

Battery has three outputs so you guys might need two of them. Ha.

Mike....so you didn't have your April conference in Denver this year?

One of the most life improving devices one can purchase. I will never own a house without one.

A question for you: when you are barefoot outside walking thru the yard, and you step in some dog****, do you run grab a rough piece of paper towel to wipe your foot, or, do you grab the garden hose and wash your foot with a stream of water?

Wipe my foot on the neighbor's (who dog did the deed) on his manicured lawn, or door mat.:D

Nah I just use a hose....

Exactly. Dilution is the Solution.

People who think that using an abrasive paper to try and smear/scratch/remove fecal matter from their person are not very clean. Would hate to do their laundry.

Ditto! I'll never go back. It's like going back to a house with outdoor plumbing.

Now if I can just figure out a way to put one in my RV...
