Since David White has been asking questions about home builts and experimentals, perhaps this aircraft would be the right one for him. (spotted outside of the Jenny hangar at Kickapoo Downtown Airport in Wichita Falls, TX)

I don't see the pedals that drive the wheels on that. Are they missing? Or where's the string that you hold on to when it flies in a circle around you?

Probably a bit more appropriate for David.

I'm also not any kind of fish, but having only heard of a single submarine Mooney, I have to ask the connection between fish and low-wing monoplanes??? It's not really that hard getting in and out, I've even carried 300-pounders and people with ankle and knee problems.

Sardines belong to that family. Ride 6 hours non-stop in my Comanche. Ride 6 hours non-stop in a Mooney. Get back to me.

That'll be tough to do. I carry 5½ hours' fuel from full to dry. Course I could pull the throttle back, but what's the fun of flying a fast plane slowly? My longest leg to date is 4.4 hours, but I've flown 7 hours in two legs separated by lunch. Still felt better than I would have if I had made the same drive stopping only for food & gas.

My dad is talking about buying me an RV6 again. We'll see.

A 6'2" buddy and I put 34 hours on my Mooney Ranger in four days and loved every minute! We don't need an SUV-worth of space to travel.

Sounds like an excellent summer to get every last honey-do item you ever had, done around the house... free labor.
That works great in theory. You don't have kids that age, do you Nate? :mad2:
