As I play around more with the Insta360 X5 I think I fall more and more in love! Our friend had a fly-in in Halletsville, TX and my friend Shaye and I decided to fly in and camp. He parked his Cub next to me and the fact that this town is pretty far away from major towns made me think I'd find dark skies... and I was right!

Anyway, hope you enjoy watching us talk to a few of the volunteers, then settle in for a beer or two and then head to our tents. BTW, the amount of time we drank beer looks really short when compared to the whole night!

Very cool ! Just got a 360x5 and strut mounted it. It is absolutely amazing what it will do. What's not amazing is my ability to use the tools to edit the footage into something cool.

LOL, it's got a learning curve, but I keep it pretty simple on my air-to-air videos. Simply click the spot I want to look at.

Would love the details of your strut installation... Commercial product or custom? Can you share some details please?

Thats the setup I bought with the rubber coated metal band. Pretty simple to setup and can be removed in 2 minutes. I'll grab a picture of it installed next time I'm at the hangar.
