I finally got around to going through my pictures from the Indy Airshow. A couple goods ones of the Blue Angels. They aren't POTW worthy, but not bad consider I'm still using an old 2.1 MP Canon (I really need to upgrade). Also a couple pics of my girls enjoying the best type of food... Free food.

Also, when I went flying last Thursday, a Piaggio landing at KMQJ. First time I'd seen one of those, so I took a picture of it as well. Kinda cool.

Nice photos. Looks like it was a perfect day for an airshow!
 
Gotta love the kid in the first picture.
Just cant resist touching the airplane. :)
 
I love Piaggio's... they're like a big flying catfish! There's one based at SGR that I've seen taking off and landing. There's no mistaking the sound of those pusher engines when those things are coming in on final!

agreed on that... I was walking out as it was landing and it sounded like a jet... not until it taxied up to the ramp did I see it was indeed a pusher...

Yeah, there's at least one that I see at Atlantic at MDW all the time... maybe it's based there? But yeah, it makes a pretty distinct sound, and yep, it is definitely a cool lookin' plane! :yes:
