Inde Car track - southern AZ

[dans2992]

Just ran across this and thought it might be an interesting fly-in destination...

Sounds like fun, it would be better if they had a real program like a Skip Barber school.

Agreed.

Chuckwalla Valley Raceway in Southern CA has a runway as well. Not much for services or ambiance, but the track is top notch and last time I flew in there were a couple built up mustangs with some logos on them that led me to believe there is some form of driving school going on there as well. I go there to ride motorcycles though so I haven't really paid much attention to their car events.

I've flown past it a few times. It would be a fun event, but at $100 a person it becomes more of a $200 hamburger.

Inde is a cool track, might have to look at doing this.

If you go, the Titan missile museum is (somewhat) nearby.

Very interesting as well.

And the Pima Air Museum in Tucson.

And try to do a Boneyard tour too.

Here's a shot of Chuckwalla.

I flew down there with a friend last year. He flew the leg down and I flew back. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKZSsNvW2Yw&list=UUTL5xXcYEFzyLsevmZymRVg and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cMyu7GXFaeY&list=UUTL5xXcYEFzyLsevmZymRVg
