Incidence of fatalities

Recently I was rereading an article in Caifornia Geology magazine about Radon mapping. The associated graph (Figure 4) is quite interesting. While not conclusive you'll see the incidence of fatalities resulting from Radon in single family homes is many factors more than that of GA.

How often have you or anyone you know heard about anyone succumbing to emanation of Radon?
