I recently came across a reference to Inadvertent IFR Procedure as listed in the NATOPS Flight Manual. The reference cautioned how the procedure becomes an inadequate solution during low level navigation because of low ceilings.
Greg, Ron, other, would you expound on this, please? Line of sight nav aids becoming unusable because of lo alt and decreased obstacle clearance I understand, but the reference mentions the increase in problems associated with planning and coordination while in lo level flight.
